GLAS partners with Fantasia on $4bn+ offshore debt restructuring

GLAS is pleased to have supported the successful completion of the restructuring of Chinese property developer, Fantasia Holdings Group Co., Limited.

A cross-border GLAS team spanning APAC and EMEA played several roles on the transaction which saw over US$4bn of offshore debt restructured.

GLAS worked alongside Fantasia, its creditors, and their respective advisers to implement the restructuring, in multiple roles including Note Trustee, Paying Agent, Conversion Agent, Security Agent, Escrow Agent and Holding Period Trustee.

The completion of this transaction marks another high profile Chinese real estate property developer restructuring that GLAS has been trusted to support, following the recent US$17.7bn restructuring of Country Garden and US$9.6bn restructuring of Sunac.
