GLAS supports Intrum’s landmark recapitalisation transactions

The transactions included a SEK 7.5 billion capital raise, a €525 million offering of 7.000% senior secured notes due 2031, a concurrent exchange offer for existing noteholders and a consent solicitation process across Intrum’s outstanding debt instruments.
The recapitalisation is designed to strengthen Intrum’s financial position and support its long-term growth strategy by extending its maturity profile, reducing its cost of debt and further optimising its capital structure.
The proceeds are expected to support Intrum’s deleveraging strategy, sustainable growth initiatives and operational efficiency programmes.
