We are pleased to announce that even during these difficult times we continue to recruit exceptional talent and have now exceeded our 100th employee within our global GLAS family. This is in line with our planned expansion to meet business growth across all sectors in our global business and in spite of the challenges of the pandemic. We continue to provide our clients with premium service and support across all our business lines.
Our UK team welcome English-qualified solicitor Natasha Chan who will be working on complex deals in our Restructuring and Insolvency team. Natasha has significant experience in cross-border restructurings. She has worked at major international law firms in London, where she advised debtors, creditors, sponsors, trustees, agents and insolvency officeholders, and gained extensive experience in legal project management. Prior to joining GLAS, Natasha was an associate at Sidley Austin LLP, where she also advised GLAS on a number of high-profile restructurings including Youngs, Galapagos and Royal IHC.

The UK team have also hired Arunima Misra and Sam Dunn who join the Capital Markets team; Our Loan Services team have rehired Gilda Cara and added new hire Vivek Mudholkar; Joining our Client Services team is Queenie Scott and Georgina Lee; Amy Innard joins as Accounts Assistant; Joining our Business Solutions Product Development Team is Lucan Chavez-Munoz and Kavita Upadhyay as Operational Support. Steve Peglitis joins as Head of Compliance.
The growth continues across the pond, where the USA added Lisha John to the Capital Markets Transaction Management. We also congratulate Veronica Colon on her recent promotion to Vice President and Manager of the US Client Services team and Eric Whalen who was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Client Services.
In Australia, Josh Kwong recently joined our legal transaction management team in Sydney.
