GLAS has been appointed Security Agent on the recent restructuring of the financial indebtedness and the provision of new money to IHC Merwede Holding B.V., part of the Royal IHC group.
Royal IHC is a Dutch supplier for over 300 years of innovative and efficient equipment, vessels and services for the offshore, dredging and wet mining markets.
The restructuring was implemented through a Dutch law share pledge enforcement and the transfer of the shares in IHC Merwede Holding B.V., the holding company of the group, to a Dutch foundation, which was approved by the Netherlands Commercial Court, with support and additional funding from the Dutch government.
