GLAS supports €885m refinancing of Grupo Dia

GLAS is pleased to see the completion of the €885m refinancing of Distribuidora Internacional De Alimentación, S.A (Grupo Dia).

The GLAS team in Spain acted as Facility Agent and Security Agent on this refinancing.

This transaction will significantly strengthen Grupo Dia’s capital structure so the company can accelerate its growth initiatives.

The funds will be utilised to fully repay existing financing, including financial debt under syndicated financing contracts from December 31, 2018 and a bilateral financing facility.
