GLAS Adds Experienced Digital and Business Strategist Farry Firoozieh as Chief Technology Officer

LONDON, 6 July 2022 — GLAS is pleased to announce that Farry Firoozieh has joined the firm as Board Director and Chief Technology Officer. This addition signals the firm’s continuing commitment to fostering technological innovation that optimises processes, enhances digital experiences and better serves the ever-evolving needs of clients.

Firoozieh brings extensive knowledge of technology, business transformation and operational performance improvement. He has more than three decades of experience in digital strategy and IT infrastructure spanning multiple sectors in financial services and professional services, including roles at Societe Generale Private Banking, Credit Suisse and Standard Bank Group.

Most recently, Firoozieh co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer of Zenith Corporate Solutions, a fintech company specialising in insurance technology for the bulk pension annuities sector. He also served as Chief Information Officer for The Pension SuperFund, and he spent seven years as CIO at the Pension Insurance Corporation with a focus on technology innovations and change programmes. He previously founded Optimize10, which helped companies of various sizes across a range of industries boost operational efficiencies and achieve transformational performance improvement.

“It is an exciting time to join GLAS amid the firm’s tremendous growth over the past 10 years,” Firoozieh said. “GLAS boasts an unmatched culture of client service, and I look forward to working with the leadership team in using technology to empower our people and develop even greater responsiveness to the changing needs of our customers.”

Firoozieh and his team will continue to refine and expand the proprietary technology for the GLAS Portal, an online tool for clients that automates and digitises processes and provides access to real-time information on the most complex of transactions.

GLAS recently received a strategic investment from the mid-market private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, which will enable the agency to make further investments in technology that can add value and improve the client experience.

“Farry has deep knowledge of how technology impacts the ongoing evolution of financial services,” said Mia Drennan, Co-Chair and President at GLAS. “His addition represents an important step in further growing our technology capabilities and expanding our digital offerings to better serve our clients for years to come.”
