GLAS Supports €1bn Financing for ENERPARC AG

GLAS Germany is thrilled to support the billion-euro financing package secured by ENERPARC AG

The GLAS team worked on the €1bn+ financing package secured by Hamburg-based solar IPP ENERPARC AG earlier this month.

The GLAS team in Frankfurt acted as Facility Agent and Security Agent on the transaction which will support the continued expansion of one of Europe’s leading producers of solar energy.

The financing package saw the GLAS team working alongside a global consortium of asset managers and a German state bank. The financing consisted of a €500m loan (in form of registered Notes) and a long-term project financing framework which could reach €500m.

This transaction joins a long list of partnerships in the green energy and infrastructure market that GLAS have been trusted to support. In the last year alone, the global GLAS team have worked on several of the market’s largest transactions in this space and highlights our team’s growing expertise in the sector.
