EY Entrepreneur of the Year, UK Winner: Mia Drennan

GLAS is proud to announce that its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mia Drennan, has been named the EY Entrepreneur of the Year UK Winner for 2025.

Mia received the prestigious award at the national ceremony held in London on 20th November 2025, following a year-long selection process that began with over 400 nominees.

She was one of eleven finalists from across the UK recognised for their outstanding leadership, passion for innovation and contribution to the UK economy.

The judges commended Mia for scaling GLAS across ten countries, twelve cities, and four continents, building a market-leading independent platform that now services over $700 billion in assets under administration.

Under her leadership, GLAS has grown to a team of more than 450 professionals worldwide, partnering with the world’s leading law firms, financial institutions, and corporates to deliver excellence across the global capital markets.

Speaking on the award, Mia said:

“It’s been an extraordinary journey building GLAS into the global business it is today, with many ups, downs, and glass ceilings broken along the way. I am incredibly proud to be named EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the UK in recognition of this.

Winners are selected by an independent panel of judges from diverse industries, recognising leaders who demonstrate excellence in innovation, financial performance, social responsibility, and personal commitment to their business and community. This year’s award coincides with Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Following this national win, Mia will go on to represent GLAS and the UK at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year^TM in May 2026 in Monaco.
