GLAS has recently been appointed as the Syndicate Facility Agent (Global Loan Agency Services Limited) and Security Agent (GLAS Trust Corporation Limited) on the restructuring of the financial indebtedness of Nynas AB, a Swedish manufacturer of specialty naphthenic oils and bitumen products. The restructuring was implemented through a Swedish composition process and reorganisation plan, which was approved by the Swedish District Court of Södertörn on 30 November 2020 and became effective on 19 January 2021.
The GLAS deal team consisted of Mia Drennan (Founder, Co-Chair, and Group President), Restructuring & Insolvency team members Natasha Chan and Anthony Stanford, and Luxman Jegatheeswaran (Transaction Manager).
