The role of Transaction Support Group

The Transaction Support Team is responsible for handling and processing an array of deadline driven administrative activities in relation our portfolio corporate lending and debt capital market transactions. We are looking for the right candidate with the right attitude who brings with them a desire to learn and a passion to see the business thrive

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completing the daily workload ensuring activities are performed and executed within defined deadlines.
  • Maintaining key customer contacts within a CRM system
  • Assisting transaction managers with the onboarding of new entities through data input
  • Assigning of new transaction bank accounts
  • Establishing of new transaction bank accounts in conjunction with GLAS’s banking providers
  • Logging receipt of original transaction documentation and making the necessary arrangement to archive this offsite
  • Logging receipt of original security documentation and making the necessary arrangement to store these onsite
  • Establishing online secure Debtdomain Dealsites for new transactions
  • Creating deal specific calendar reminders within Debtdomain and acting upon those calendar notifications
  • Distributing transaction related reporting via the Debtdomain Dealsite
  • Preparing the GLAS contact information form ahead of any borrower initiative exercise
  • Ensuring all deal related email communication is saved to the appropriate i-Manage folder.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with team members to cover all administrative tasks
  • Providing exceptional service to stakeholders – including dealing with internal and external queries in a timely manner.
  • Establishing a high-quality standard within the team, particularly with regards to service delivery and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Timely escalation of relevant matters to Team Leader and/or Managers.
  • Adherence to all internal operating policies.
  • Supporting on Adhoc projects where required
  • Other duties may be required from time to time in with the expansion and evolving nature of the team.
  • All staff members are expected to take a block of leave of at least 14 calendar day’s duration each year, unless they obtain management exception.
